Details of dress shown in the wedding photo
(the photo itself is shown at top)

(We will be adding our own photos of the dress itself soon)

We have colorized the photo to show the parts of the outfit which are being offered
AND to reflect the actual color of the dress, which is a candle-light, or golden ivory.

Dress shown in the wedding photograph of Mary Elizabeth Cornelius, wearing the dress at the time of her marriage around 1892. The photo was taken in Springfield, MO. Since then, the frill has been removed from the neckline; this is the only change to the dress. It is in three pieces: skirt, bodice and belt. The only soil is light dust on the underside of the train and some smudges left in some places by the metal hooks; all may be removable with expert cleaning. The bodice waistband measures about 24" and the skirt waistband about 26". (Photo is marked Springfield, MO. and is included with the dress.)
